Herold’s Bay is a pristine and secluded gem located just 15 km west of George in South Africa's Western Cape province. Nestled along the Garden Route, it serves as an ideal holiday getaway for both golf enthusiasts and fishing aficionados. Set within a rocky cove, Herold's Bay enjoys protection from the South Easterly winds that sweep across the coast.  The bay features a charming stretch of beach, perfect for swimming, surfing, and fishing. The tidal pool, along with numerous natural rock pools along the shoreline, offers fantastic opportunities for exploration and snorkeling. The sheltered cove provides the perfect setting for families to unwind and bask in the sun.

The village is conveniently situated near two prestigious golf courses: Fancourt and Oubaai, complemented by the luxurious Ernie Els signature golf course that enhances this ruggedly beautiful landscape. In the warmer months, dolphins frequent the bay, while winter months from July to November are ideal for whale watching.
